The town is divided by the river, which is crossed by a single bridge. The Watermark is in West Looe, overlooking the pier and beach, and with spectacular views over the town of East Looe, and and across the bay to the beaches and cliffs of south east Cornwall.

There is limited parking available behind the hotel, in Hannafore Lane, and unlimited free parking along the sea front beyond the hotel.

For those arriving by train, Looe is on the branch line off the main Penzance - Plymouth line. Change at Liskeard for Looe. The Watermark is a short walk along the river and quayside from the station.
